Hey there, folks! It’s me, Orangie, your friendly neighborhood Jeep Wrangler. I’ve got a heartwarming story to share with you all. So, I was on my way to pick up a 6-pound bag of oranges at the weekly farmers market put on by the Chamber of Commerce when I saw Henry the Panel Truck parked at Christmas Circle.
I had heard about Henry before and was immediately drawn to him. There’s something about his rusty exterior and vintage charm that makes him stand out from the crowd. I just had to find out more about him.
After some digging online, I learned that Henry was born in 1950 and has been through quite the journey. He’s had ten used motors and has traveled a million miles with his owner, Denny DuVall of “Old Borego,” by his side. Henry has been through it all, from marriages and breakups to cross-country moves.
But what I admire most about Henry is his loyalty and character. Despite his age and wear and tear, he’s still going strong and has a story that will touch your heart.
If you ever spot Henry on the road, be sure to give him a wave and a honk. And if you want to learn more about this legendary truck, check out his website. You might even pick up some tips on starting a Model T.
Until next time, keep exploring and enjoying the ride, just like Henry and Denny do!
