The campground also features non-hookup sites and group camp sites, both providing similar amenities and located at the same elevation, close to the headquarters.


Tamarisk Grove


At Tamarisk Grove, campers can enjoy:

  • Non-Hookup Sites: 27 sites available at $25 per night, accommodating RVs up to 21 feet with a maximum of 8 people per site.
  • Facilities & Location: Like Borrego Palm Canyon, this campground offers comprehensive amenities and is situated at an elevation of 1400 feet, 13 miles from the headquarters.


Horse Camp


Horse Camp is exclusively for campers with horses, featuring:

  • Horse-Friendly Sites: 10 sites at $30 per night, suitable for RVs up to 24 feet and a maximum of 8 people per site.
  • Amenities & Elevation: Equipped with similar facilities as the other campgrounds, it is located at an elevation of 960 feet, 8 miles from the headquarters.


BowWillow


BowWillow offers a more secluded experience with:

  • Non-Hookup Sites: 16 sites at $15 per night, accommodating RVs up to 24 feet and up to 8 people per site.
  • Facilities & Location: Includes basic amenities and is positioned at an elevation of 950 feet, 55 miles from the headquarters.


Backcountry Camping
