How to Get to June Wash

To reach June Wash, head south on S-3 from Christmas Circle, and just past Tamarisk Grove campground, turn right (west) onto Highway 78. Continue on Highway 78 for 7 miles and then turn left (south) onto S-2. Drive for 21.3 miles until you reach Agua Caliente County Park, passing through lush valleys. Once you pass the first entrance into Agua Caliente, drive for another 3.3 miles to reach the June Wash turnoff. You will see a large parking area on the left (east of the highway) where you can park your vehicle. If you have a high clearance AWD, you can also drive into the wash. Flowers are visible along S-2 as you approach June Wash, and the first mile into the wash offers an amazing display of wildflowers.
