Borrego Springs Unified School District: A Beacon of Inspiration and Family Support

In a recent message from the Superintendent of the Borrego Springs Unified School District, Dr. Mark Stevens, the community was provided with an update on the district's focus and developments. The message from Dr. Stevens outlines the district's approach since his tenure began in 2016, centered around the educational and personal development of students within the Anza-Borrego State Park region.

Dr. Stevens emphasizes the district's expansion of Career Technical Education (CTE) programs as a response to the changing job market, preparing students for various careers and college. Additionally, the district has undertaken a program of home visits as a strategy for strengthening family involvement in the educational process.

The overall aim of the district, as stated by Dr. Stevens, is to offer a well-rounded education that equips students with the academic skills and values necessary for success. The message also looks forward to the district's continuous commitment to improving educational offerings and maintaining strong ties within the Borrego Springs community.

The complete message from Dr. Stevens is forthcoming, detailing these initiatives and the district’s commitment to its students and families.
