BYOB at St Barnabas in Borrego Springs Ca - Schedule

Looking for a delightful way to spend your lunch hour in Borrego Springs?

The popular BYOB (Bring Your Own Bowl) lunchtime concert series at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church offers a perfect blend of music, community, and delicious homemade soups. This event is open to everyone and has become a beloved tradition in the community.

What to Expect at BYOB

The idea behind BYOB is simple: bring your own bowl and enjoy a delicious lunch while listening to live music. It’s a chance to experience fellowship, connect with others, and support local musicians. Each concert features a variety of musical performances and a selection of hearty soups made by people who truly know how to make soup – local businesses, home chefs, and community members sharing their cherished family recipes.

BYOB isn’t just a meal – it’s an experience. Guests gather to share stories, meet new friends, and reconnect with familiar faces, all while enjoying soups made with love and tradition.

Live Music and Great Entertainment

Here’s what’s on the lineup:

  • February 19: Syrinx Duo – Classical French piano pieces for four hands
  • February 26: Flotilla of Flutes – Flute ensemble featuring Jennie, Jinny, Elaine, and Debbie
  • March 5: Sentimental Journeys – A nostalgic performance by Scott & Jeff
  • March 12: Steve Hunter – “She Loves You Yeah, Yeah, Yeah!” - Jazz and N’awlins versions of Beatles music
  • March 19: SoulAire – Eclectic pop, gypsy, and original tunes with violin and piano by Beth & Bruce
